My day is far from your typical gamer’s, as it’s loaded with outdoor activities and the occasional road trip, but when I do get the chance to game, then I’m all in. I started with gaming when I first picked up Final Fantasy 7 for the PC at the age of just 11 years old! Back then, I wasn’t very computer savvy, so it’s funny to think back at the primitive technology that I had, including a basic mouse and a crusty yellow keyboard. Those were the days!

At first, I looked upon the Peregrine with real skepticism. ‘A glove… to replace a keyboard?’ I thought. It just couldn’t be possible. I’ve spent 7 years playing WarCraft 3 ladder games, never shifting races so I memorized all my hotkeys for buildings, always knowing what control groups I formed and where my usable items were. Even with my limited time playing DotA, I was proficient enough with WarKeys that there was hardly a slip. There was no way it could be even easier.

When I first encountered the Peregrine at CES in 2010, I wasn’t quite sure what to think. It certainly had the engineering and software quality of a high grade tool, but it was being used for gaming. Not just any type of gaming, but my favorite types of games – MMO’s, RPG’s, and RTS’s. It was an awesome combination of both worlds – kind of like a reflection of my very own life.

Hey there! I’m Pu Liu, and I’m a gamer. I’ve been playing video games since I wrangled Nintendo time away from my uncle at the age of 5. My love of gaming has only grown with age, and my favorite way to play games is on my PC. I love the versatility of the PC, the variety of games offered for it, and the ability it conveys to link up with other players via the internet. My biggest (and probably only) issue with PC gaming has always been comfort. I’ve spent years searching for the perfectly contoured mouse, wads of bills seeking the ideal mouse pad texture, and suffered through the numerous hand cramps that are telltale of an unsuitable keyboard.
